STUDENT MINISTRY

For Students in Grades 7–12

Our Mission is to passionately follow Jesus, make disciples, and tell all people about Him.

The teenage years are a pivotal time. According to Barna Group Research, about 64 percent of born-again Christians make their initial personal commitment to Jesus Christ before turning 18. With that in mind, our vision is to create a space where everyone who comes through our doors discovers who Jesus is and can deepen their relationship with Him. Every adult volunteer is committed to creating a welcoming and safe environment for your child to grow. Every Oakwood volunteer who works with our children undergoes a background and character check, receives adequate yearly training, and is committed to coming alongside students during this time of their lives.

 

Weekly Gatherings:

Sundays | 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM

Life Groups

A dedicated morning hour to eat breakfast, study God’s Word in smaller peer groups, and build community.

Wednesdays | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Midweek Student Gathering

Our dynamic midweek student experience includes an expositional sermon, worship, games, small groups, and real connection.
