The vision for Oakwood Baptist Church is; To Know God and experience His Glory so that our changed lives impact the world.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.


Brother Ken, Senior Pastor (oakwoodpastor@epbfi.com)

Rev Kenneth Clark is originally from the Forth Worth area of Texas. Ken graduated from Stephen F Austin University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. One of Ken’s greatest desires is to be part of a movement of God where God is saving souls in numbers and in ways that can only be explained by the power of God. Ken came to Oakwood from Providence Baptist Church in Providence, NC and has been ministering here since September, 2002

Pastor Grady, Associate Pastor (oakwoodassociate@epbfi.com)

Rev Grady Dishroon is a home grown product of Oakwood. He joined the church in May 1987. In 1993, Grady found himself ministering to the youth as youth pastor and leading worship as worship pastor. In 1997, Pastor Grady became the part-time Minister of Music and in 2004 transitioned into the full-time position of Associate Pastor. Grady graduated from the University of TN at Chattanooga and from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brother Ben, Student Pastor (oakwoodyouth@epbfi.com)

Rev. Ben Rivers came to Oakwood in May of 2017 from Savannah, TN to work with our Middle School, High School and College age students. Ben graduated from Union University. Ben is a great addition to the staff at Oakwood and has a genuine desire to see young lives changed.
Pepper Wilson, Children’s Ministry Director (oakwoodchildren@epbfi.com)
Pepper joined the staff in January of 2017. Pepper has an education degree from The University of the Cumberlands and a Masters from the University of TN and she loves the Lord and kids. She is in charge of planning and coordinating all children ministries as well as teaching and nurturing the children of Oakwood using high standards and an abundance of love.
Roy Smith, Music Director (oakwoodworship@epbfi.com)
Roy came to us in April of 2017 as the director of our Music Ministries. Roy graduated from Bryan University with a degree in Music Education and is a phenomenal pianist. Roy is in charge of selecting relevant worship music and rehearsing the band and vocalists to lead the congregation in praise to our Mighty Lord and Savior
